Thanks to Lindsey Shaun for these behind the scenes pictures -
Here are a few that I took on my own camera of her hair and makeup-
Stay tuned for the rest of the pictures from the photographers!

Are the flowers in her hair fresh? My friend really wants fresh flowers in her hair, but she's worried they will wilt
ReplyDeleteYes they are fresh. The best advice I can give is to wait until the last minute to put the flowers in her hair, and once they are in DON"T hairspray her hair again. It also helps to have extra fresh flowers in water that you can use to replace the ones in her hair half way through the day if you need to.
DeleteIs the braid her hair or is a hair piece that you placed in her hair?? And if it is her hair, is it a french braid on top of her head?
ReplyDeleteYes it is all her hair, and yes I started the braid by her left ear and went across the top.
DeleteHow did you put the flowers in her hair? Are they attached to bobby pins? If so, how'd you attach them? If been wanting to wear fresh baby's breath and flowers in my hair, but can't figure out how to make them stay.
ReplyDeleteI just put bobby pins around the stems and then put them in.
DeleteWhat type of flower is the pink one?
DeleteHi so I was wondering if you could maybe say what makeup you used on the eyes? Just the makeup in general but especially the eyes because I was to do something like this for my senior pictures:)
ReplyDeleteHi this is so beautiful. I wish you were in Florida to do my wedding hair. What types of flowers are in her hair? Also, is that a crown braid?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what kind of flowers they are, but they are real. And yes it is a crown braid.
DeleteThis is beautiful! Where is the location the shoot was at? Also, I loved the gorgeous pictures you took with your own camera. Nice work! What kind of camera and lens were you using?
ReplyDeleteThe location is at La Caille, and I was using a 5D Mark III with a 50 mm lens.
DeleteHi steph! Can I just ask what kind/size curler you used for it? My friend's just asked me to recreate this for her formal (Australian prom) and I really want to get this right! Her formal comes before your ebook comes out unfortunately, so I'm just going to have to learn off your beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteAnn,
ReplyDeleteI'm actually going to be releasing it early! When is her formal?
Her formal is on the 8th of February!
DeleteDid you just twist and pin the curl in the back?or is it a bun?
ReplyDeleteWhat shades of eye makeup and lip gloss did you use? Absolutely fabulous!
