Fifteen Ways to Pin Back your Bangs

We all have those days when our bangs drive us crazy!  Sometimes we blow dry them wrong, sometimes we don't have time to wash and style them, and sometimes they are even cut a little too short.  Here are fifteen different ways to pin back your bangs for those days when they aren't cooperating.
If you need extra help with braiding, check out my post on braids.

What about people with short bangs (like me)? I have a full bang that I am trying to grow out. They are just now long enough I can sweep them slightly to the side, but a lot of days I just want them out of my face, and besides the headband, they are too short to do any of these.

    Thanks,
    Erica

    1. It's hard when you are just starting to grow them out, especially if they are thick. You could do the small pompadour or the small side pompadour. You could probably do a small braid or twist too, it would just take a little extra effort and some hairspray.

    2. Easy...a style I used before I had bangs is now my daily style to grow out my bangs. Do the mini pompadour....but instead of poofing, slick straight back. Take a bobby pin and pin in the middle of the bangs facing back, but at an angle....do the same with the other side (so it should look like an X). Now repeat with two more bobby pins slightly past the first ones, but still overlapping...and it should be a double criss cross. Its cute, easy, and will hold your bangs through anything. The ends are short and should just blend in through the top of your hair, and you can style the rest however.

  5. Could you do a quick tutorial on how you get that volume on the "twist braid" in the front? I LOVE the look and am hair styling impaired :) Thanks!

  6. I wish your bangs were shorter so that those of us with eyebrow-length blunt bangs knew what to do! Thanks for the ideas, though :) There are some days when I'm just fed up so I end up doing a tiny side french braid.
